We accept short fiction, flash fictions, non-fiction and poetry and welcome writers from Australia and around the world to submit.
Unfortunately, we do not offer payment, but there will be book giveaways through social media.
Marauder Literary Journal is the brainchild of Melbourne-based author, Maggie Jankuloska who wanted to create an inclusive and inspiring space for writers.
Maggie Jankuloska is also the winner of the 2015 Yarra Plenty Regional Library Write Now! Short Story Competition, with her entry, The Departure. In addition, her fiction has been featured in the 2016 Award Winning Australian Writing anthology, literary journals N-SCRIBE, Feminartsy and The Regal Fox. She was short-listed for the 2016 Lane Cove Short Story Awards. In the past she has written for lifestyle websites, like HelloGiggles, Our World Todayand The Conversation.
Maggie is a book hoarder and likes to add to her growing library of books. She loves writing female heroines who break convention. Her published stories have touched on the themes of : love, loss, grief, decay of friendships, loss of culture.
